“Kausta Guder” expansion in Latvia
The construction technology vendor and lessor “Kausta Guder” is expanding in Latvia and opening a new Construction Technology Centre in Riga. Company will control new center through the daughter enterprise in Latvia SIA “KG Tehnika”. This is the first stage of “Kausta Guder” geographical expansion.
The new Construction Technology Centre of nearly 1000 sq. meters includes commercial salon, equipment service centre and office with conference hall. According to plans, 11 employees should be working in the centre until the end of next year. Later, considering the situation in the market, the number of employees should increase.
“The opening of this centre is a planned stage of geographical expansion. It will allow the work experience gathered in Lithuania to export to Latvia. The circle of clients in Latvia has largely expanded in past two years. Also, considering the economical situation, the need of high quality items and services that helps to save the costs, is rising,” – says “Kausta Guder” director Ugnius Noreika.
According to U. Noreika, “Kausta Guder” has no doubts in center’s competitive ability in Latvia because of its reliable technologies and services. For the future plans company has Estonian, Ukrainian and Russian markets.
New centre is founded in the easy to reach area located further from Riga’s center. The major competitors are establishing in this part of the city. It is expected that this fact will attract more clients. The Construction Technology Centre address is Maskavas 450N.
The representatives of company’s major foreign partners have participated in the opening feast: Dynapac (Sweden), Kaeser Kompressoren (Germany), Cifa (Italy), Gesan (Spain).
In the year of 2007, “Kausta Guder” turnover was 51 m LTL. The Latvian market made 5,3 m LTL. Hopefully the intense expansion will allow the company to keep the intended growth speed and to reach 64,3 m LTL turnover in 2008.
